Logistics of thecircular economy of reconditioned mobiles

For a major player in cell phone reconditioning, we have set up a picking system with 50,000 individual boxes divided by unit, allowing us to pick a cell phone that is precise to the IMEI, the granularity of the customer's offer being very fine.

Battery recharging and verification tests have been integrated into the production process to minimize delays.

To manage reverse flows, we have set up two after-sales service and sourcing workshops for testing (software, manual and visual), resetting and reconditioning mobiles in accordance with the customer's quality charter.

 

By grouping outbound and reverse flows with the same logistics provider, the client was able to feed its sales directly with its purchases, and reduce its operational cycles, its carbon footprint and its inventory. By pooling the shipping and reverse teams, we were able to smooth out working hours and concentrate reverse operations on the last four days of the week to reinforce the Monday shipping staff.
